"Garden Giant, Wine Cap, Gartenriese"
1 spore syringe contains several millions of spores,
soluted in 10 ml of sterile water.
The wine cap bares fruitbodies with diamter up to 40 cm! - An eye catcher for every mushroom garden!
Growing conditions:
Spawn run: 21 - 27 °C
Primordia formation: 10 - 16 °C
Fruiting: 16 - 21 °C
Convenient substrate:
Hardwood, straw (soil with gras or corn)
This mushroom species needs casing soil to form fruiting bodys.
For indoor cultivation we recommend woodchips or straw mixture in substrate bags.
ATTENTION: PF-SUBSTRAT IS NOT CONVENIENT FOR THIS SPECIES!
The fruiting bodies of King stropharia are very fleshy. They are very deliciouse for barbecue or to bread. The shaft of the garden giant is white, the cap winered. Stropharia rugoso annulata bares purple-brown spores.
Out in the nature Stropharia is distrubuted through nearly all deciduous woodlands in the moderate climate zone. (Europa, New Zealand, Japan, Mid-Atlantic states in north america).
Stored in a cool (max. 20 °C) and dark place, packed in airproof bags (zip-lock bags), spore syringes are germinable for at least 1 year from delivery. We reommend to store spore syringes not colder then 5 degrees celsius or 41 degrees fahrenheit.
We produce our spore syringes from our tesed, high quality made spore prints, under sterile conditions in our laboratory. All our spore syringes are produced continuously fresh.

Mainly for hobby mycologists the cultivation with spore syringes is well proven. Smal quantities of substrate or grain (mostly rye, colonized by a fungus wich is used for inoculaton of a fruiting-substrate) can be easily inoculatet with spore syringes. Even if you could not work ins perfect sterile athomosphere the failures by contamination will be very low.
Further possible applications:
- Mycelium germinatio from spores (please click her for detailed instructions!)
