Packed airproof (in zipp-lock bags) the spores are germinable for at least 1 year from date of delivery. We reommend to store spore prints in a cool, dry and clean room. Not colder then 5 degrees celsius or 41 degrees fahrenheit. As soon as the fruit body of a mushroom was grown to its full dimensions, the mushroom starts to produce spores. This spores fall out of the shroom cap when they are fully matured. For mushroom cultivation, these spores are collected as a spore print.
